BANGOR – Linda Kay Query, 60, wife of Nelson L. Query Sr., was called home by the Lord April 28, 2006, at her Bangor home. She was born Nov. 24, 1945, in Furnace Run, Pa. She attended Kittanning High School and earned her CNA at Eastern Main Tech. She was employed as a CNA at Bangor Mental Health Institute for 20 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and known as a wonderful homemaker. In addition to her beloved husband of 37 years, Nelson; she is survived by her children, Adrien Query and very special daughter-in-law, Ellen, of Newburg, Nelson Query Jr. of Florida, Sandra Nickerson and husband, Mark, of Dedham, Christina Shea and husband, Christopher, of Saco; two sisters, Stella Marlene Treese of Kittanning, Pa. and Patty Lou King of Furnace Run, Pa; seven brothers, Harold G. Smith of Alexandria, Va., Jewell Leroy Goodman of Furnace Run, Pa., William M. Goodman of Glenburn, James W. Goodman of Brewer Lake, Albie E. Goodman of Furnace Run, Pa., Lawrence B. Goodman of Hagerstown, Md.; and a very special brother and sister-in-law, Sidney A. Goodman and his wife, Claire Goodman; five grandchildren, Kyle Nickerson, Brittney Nickerson, Ralph Tripp Jr., Kimberly Tripp and Kristan Porter; and one great-grandchildren, Nadia Tripp and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; and a sister, Violet. Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Monday, May 1, at Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor. Calling hours and funeral services will be held in Cowansville, Pa., at the Snyder Crissman Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. Marks Lutheran Cemetery.
