CRYSTAL – Linden M. Keene 67, died Feb. 23, 2006, at his home. He was born Dec. 3, 1939, in Ashland, the son of Robert and Doris (Hunnewell) Keene. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Marilyn (Pelkey) Keene of Crystal; five children, Lynn Keene of Brooklyn, Conn., Shelly Spiers of St. Francis, Shawn Keene of Stacyville, Ernest Keene of Danielson, Conn. and Jeremy Keene of London, Ky.; nine grandchildren and one great-grandson; two brothers and three sisters, Evelyn Reece of Houlton, Ernest Keene of Litchfield, John Keene of Palmyra, Irene Keene and Elaine Joseph, both of Belfast. He was predeceased by one brother, Royce; and one sister, Edith Langer. Friends may call 3-5 p.m. Sunday, at the Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls.
