BENEDICTA – Linnie M. Robinson, 75, died March 8, 2005, at her daughter’s home in Levant with her family at her side. She was born Dec. 14, 1929, in Silver Ridge, the daughter of Fred and Marjorie (Hayes) Humphrey. A loving and devoted wife of 56 years, she encouraged the good in each of her children and enjoyed sharing their accomplishments with others. She took pride in raising a large family and providing a loving and spotless home. Her children often requested her rendition of “Father Dear Father” on Sunday drives. She is survived by her 10 children, Barbara and her husband, Philip Joyce, of Hermon, Catherine Cyr of Benedicta, Joseph and his wife, June Robinson, of Benedicta, Susan Robinson of Portland, William and his wife, Lana Robinson, of Benedicta, Steve and his wife, Kim Robinson, of Benedicta, David and his wife, Peggy Robinson, of Sherman Mills, Lori and her husband, Michael Noyes, of Levant, Gayle and her husband, Russ Gray, of Northeast Harbor, Frederick and his wife, Amy Robinson, of Topsham; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sisters, Rowena and her husband, Albert Qualey, Joyce O’Hara, Roma and her husband, Clayton Osnoe, Deanna and her husband, Roger Bouchard; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene R. Robinson; and a son-in-law, Randy K. Cyr. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday, at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, Benedicta, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday with Father Richard Malo celebrant.
