HOULTON and WYTOPITLOCK – Lisa May LeBlond, 42, has gone home to walk with her Lord and Savior March 5, 2005, after a long illness. She was born Aug. 19, 1962, in Lincoln, the daughter of Opal (Austin) and Kenneth LeBlond. She fought Hodgkins Limphoma at age 18 then went on to Word of Life Bible Institute then attended Husson College. She held secretarial positions with Richard Cleary, D.H.S. and with the Houlton Chamber of Commerce. In addition to her very loving parents of Houlton, she is survived by her grandmother, Marie LeBlond of Millinocket; her best friend and dearly loved special son, Brandon Scott LeBlond of Houlton; a caring and devoted sister, Darleen and her husband, John Britton, of Littleton; a special brother, Reginald Allen LeBlond of Houlton; two very special nieces, Brittany and Brianne Britton of Littleton; several aunts uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her loving grandparents, Marion and Llewellyn “Winnie” Corbett and Gerald LeBlond. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, where a celebration of her life will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, with Pastor Jamie Gardner and Rev Randall Burns officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Lisa’s memory to the Brandon LeBlond Education Fund, care of Bowers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 579, Houlton, ME 04730. A time of fellowship will be held immediately following the celebration at the Military Street Baptist Church, all are welcome, as it was Lisa’s wish to have a large celebration for her homecoming.
