BENEDICTA – Logan Moody Cyr, 1991-2005, beloved son of Tom and Danette went home to be with the Lord, Aug. 31, 2005, after a long, courageous battle. He was surrounded by family and friends. In addition to his parents, Logan is survived by paternal grandparents, Jim and Eva Cyr of Presque Isle; maternal grandparents, Gary and Beverly Moody of Stacyville; he is also survived by loving siblings, Jaron, Burton, Jasmine, Nathen, Daniel, Bailee and Eden, surrogate siblings, Cameron and Chelsea; and his beloved dog, Manny. Logan had may uncles and aunts whom all shared in his life, Pat and Len of Presque Isle, Andy and Jane of Bangor, Steve of Sedgwick, Carol and daughter, Angela, of Gorham, Rose and Eric of Industry, Mary and Mike of Augusta, John of Presque Isle, Jimmy and Coleen of Portland, Patick and Brenda of Windham, Kathy and Will of Vale, Colo. and Ricky and Jeannine Cyr of Smyrna Mills; many cousins and extended family members. He was predeceased by his Uncle Paul of Presque Isle. Logan will be remembered by his wit, humor and ability to tell a story like “Grampy Moody”. Logan leaves behind his very special friends and teachers at the Benedicta Elementary School, including, Keith Smith of Shin Pond, Jack Hammond of Sherman, Rob Gilman and Mona Qualey, both of Benedicta, George Banks of Patten, Mary Melanson; many others including all his Angel Flight family. Although Logan’s life was often full of pain and hospital trips, his desire to serve the Lord was never far from his mind. The families and friends of Logan will join in a joyous celebration of his life Saturday, Sept. 3, at the Patten Pentecostal Church, 103 Main St., Patten, with visiting 1-2 p.m. with the celebration of his life at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Sam DeWitt officiating. Although Logan’s life was shortened by illness, he touched so many people wherever he went and will continue to, through his wonderful spirit and love of his family, friends and the Lord.
