NEEDHAM, Mass. – Lois Foster, 90, of Needham, Mass., formerly of Wellesley, died Thursday, Oct. 21, 2004. She was born in Boston, Mass., the beloved daughter of the late Frederick and Daisey Foster of Wollaston, Mass. Miss Foster was a graduate of Nazarene Academy and received her LPN training in Waterville. Miss Foster was an active member and Sunday school teacher of the Wellesley Baptist Church and a retired LPN. After retirement, she continued teaching Sunday school and enjoyed knitting and other crafts and participated in Wellesley and Needham Senior Activities. Lois especially enjoyed vacationing in Deer Isle. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Walter Foster. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Phyllis Foster of Connecticut; nephew, John S. Foster of Olympia, Wash., and Joel Foster of New York; niece, Jennifer Andrews of Connecticut; and five great-nieces and great-nephews. Visiting hours will be 10:30-11:15 a.m. Monday, Oct. 25, at the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Avenue, Needham, Mass. All are invited to attend graveside services at Mount Wollaston Cemetery in Quincy at noon, followed by a 1:30 p.m. memorial service at the Wellesley Baptist Church, 42 Elmwood Road, Wellesley, Mass. (a reception will follow). In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wellesley Baptist Church Children’s Missions, 42 Elmwood Road, Wellesley, MA 02481-6701.
