GLENBURN – Lori L. (Shaw) Libby, 43, died unexpectedly June 13, 2007, due to kidney failure. She was born Sept. 12, 1963, in Bangor, the daughter of Dale L. Shaw and Irene Shaw Osgood. She graduated from Brewer High School, Class of 1981. Lori loved stock car racing, fishing, Texas hold-em and family vacations to Florida. She enjoyed spending time and helping to raise her grandson, Dakota. Surviving are her loving husband, Steve; daughter, Katie; son, Steven; mother, Irene; sisters, Cindy “Nee” and Doug, and Melissa and her husband, Bob; special grandson, Dakota; best friend, Gail and her husband, Donnie; godson, Will; special aunt, Joyce; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Heather; great-niece, Mackenzie; and extended family on the Libby and Shaw sides. Lori was predeceased by her father, Dale Shaw; and grandparents. Relatives and friends are welcome to call 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 15, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where funeral services will be held 11 am. Saturday, June 16, with the Rev. David Bean officiating. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery, Hampden. Lori requested that donations in her memory be sent for an educational fund for Steven, to Steve Libby, 1458 Hudson Road, Glenburn, ME 04401.
