BANGOR and ORONO – Lorraine Dorothy Hoyt, 81, passed away Jan. 24, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Oct. 26, 1925, in Bangor, the daughter of Clarence A. and Catherine (O’Leary) Hoyt. Lorraine is survived by two sisters, F. Nadine Hoyt and Catherine “Joan” Recker, both of Hampden. She was predeceased by her parents; and a niece, Kathleen “Kathy” Recker. Private entombment will be in the Garden Mausoleum at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor. Arrangements entrusted to the Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden.
