BANGOR – Lorraine E. Van Syckle, 61, died Oct. 3, 2004, at a Bangor healthcare facility, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Friends may call 3:30-5:30 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A service of remembrance will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at East Orrington Congregational Church.
