BLUE SPRINGS, Mo., and ROELAND PARK, Kan. – Lorraine Look Hendrix, died March 18, 2007, from cancer, at her daughter’s home in Roeland Park, Kan. She was born at the home of her maternal grandparents, Merrill F. and Hope (Dresser) Drisko on the Wescogus Road, Addison. She was the daughter of Eugene S. and Frances (Drisko) Look. Lorraine attended Jonesport High School and graduated from Grain Valley High School, Missouri. She served as Democratic Party committeewoman for Sni-A-Bar Township and was a volunteer at Bushwhacker Days, Blue Springs, Mo., and at Sant-Cali-Gon Days, Independence, Mo. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Society of Mayflower Descendants, and the Blue Springs Historical Society. She is survived by her mother, Frances D. Look of Jonesport; her children, Bonnie S. Thompson of Addison, Mark and Cyndi Thompson of Beaverton, Ore., LouAnn Shannon of Roeland Park, Kan., and Jennifer and Dan Alexitch of Kansas City, Kan.; her grandchildren, Eric and Alison Thompson, Brian and Devin Shannon, Johnathon Wheeler, and Matthew and Nicholas Alexitch; a great-granddaughter, Evelyn Mae Shannon; a sister, Marilyn Smith of Blue Springs, Mo.; and two aunts, Thelma Grant and Frances Kofoed of Addison. A memorial service will be held March 30, at Blue Springs Historical Society. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Blue Springs Historical Society, P.O.
