BREWER – Louis Demaso, 91, husband of the late Rose E. (Buonopane) Demaso, died Dec. 6, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. He was born in Revere, Mass., Nov. 25, 1913, the son of Mauro and Concetta (Vetere) Demaso. Louis graduated from Revere High School and attended Lowell Institute. He was employed by T.W. Cunningham and later Nickerson and O’Day as office manager. Louis was active in the Katahdin Area Council both in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. He was a member of the National Association of Accountants and was a communicant of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He is survived by six children, L. William Demaso and his wife, Marie, of Veazie, Loretta and her husband, Jack Kearns of Orrington, Joseph Demaso and his wife, Pearl, of Bucksport, Susan Demaso of Roswell, Ga., John Demaso and his wife, Jane of Hancock and Teresa and her husband, Dana Scott, of Matthews, N.C.; 15 grandchildren, Tom Demaso and wife, Deborah, of Hampden, Dianne (Demaso) Grandchamp and husband, Mark, of Veazie, Lisa (Demaso) Charloux and husband, Eric, of Hermon, John Kearns and wife, Christian, of Tulsa, Okla., Maria Kearns of Boston, Mass., Angela Kearns of Bangor, Felicia Kearns of Bangor, Melissa Kearns of San Francisco, Calif., Teresa Kearns of Bangor, Mikel Kearns of Orrington, Tony Demaso of Toronto, Canada, Kristine Demaso of Bucksport, Jake and Zachary Demaso of Georgia, Gina Scott of Matthews, N.C.; nine great-grandchildren, Joshua and Brianna Demaso, Gabrielle, Marissa and Olivia Grandchamp, Miranda and Ashley Charloux, Cooper Kearns and John M. Kearns IV; two sisters, Susan Buonopane and Josephine Bellofatto; one brother, Edward Demaso; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by six brothers and sisters. Relatives and friends may call 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, North Main St., Brewer, with the Rev. Joel R. Cyr, pastor, celebrant. Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery.
