MILLINOCKET – Louise E. Guy, 83, died at Colonial Healthcare Facility, Lincoln, on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2004. She was born Sept. 3, 1920, in Millinocket, the daughter of Russell W. and Grace (Vaughan) Allen. Mrs. Guy was the wife of the late Wilfred Earl White, formerly of Millinocket. Louise and Wilfred lived in Manchester, Conn., for many years where she worked for United Technologies in East Hartford, Conn. Wilfred passed away in 1978. She married Lennie Guy in 1980, and they moved to Millinocket residing on State Street. After Lennie passed away, Louise moved to Crestview Circle in Millinocket, and later to Stearns Assisted Living. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Norman Luck of Deltona, Fla.; two grandchildren, Kathleen White and husband, Duane, of Vernon, Conn., and Penni Marie and husband, Charles Sprague, of Sachse, Texas; one great-grandchild, Charles Sprague of Sachse, Texas; three stepchildren, Edward Guy of Simpsonville, S.C., James Guy of Portland, and Patricia St. Louis of Bangor; four sisters-in-law, Elaine Allen of Millinocket, Ruth Phelps of Deltona, Fla., Myrtle Allen of Florida, and Helen Allen of Bangor; also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five brothers, Merton, Arthur, Chester, Robert and William Allen. A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, 2004, at R.L. Bouchard Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket. Following the services in Millinocket, Mrs. Guy’s remains will be interred at St. James Cemetery in Manchester, Conn.
