BERLIN, Conn. – Louise (Faulkingham) Morrill Graham, 87, died Feb. 14, 2007. Louise was born in Bangor and lived most of her life in that area. She was the daughter of Louise (Williams) and Stewart Faulkingham. She moved to Connecticut three years ago to be closer to her family. Louise was very active in the VFW in Maine. She was president of the state and local chapters of the Ladies Auxiliary and served many other capacities in the organization. She was also involved with many service organizations in the Bangor area, volunteering much of her time to help others. She is survived by two sons and their wives, John and Dorothy Morrill of Columbia, Conn., and James and Marilyn Morrill of East Berlin, Conn.; four grandchildren, Heidi Bailey, Gregory, Douglas and Matthew Morrill; seven great-grandchildren who brought so much happiness to her life. She also leaves a sister-in-law, Marcia Faulkingham; brother-in-law, Henry Baker; and several nieces and nephews. Louise was predeceased by her parents; her husband, William Graham; former husband, Albert Morrill; her sisters, Elle Baker and Pearl French; and brothers, James Faulkingham and Leo Faulkingham. The family thanks the staff of Ledgecrest Convalescent Home for their loving care and support while Louise was there this last year. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held in the spring at the Forest Avenue Congregational Church, Bangor.
