HAMPDEN and BANGOR – Louise (Tribou) Trask, 80, wife of the late John Trask and a longtime former Bradford resident, passed away, Dec. 30, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. She was born August 27, 1925, in Hampden, the daughter of Guy W. and Anna F. (Cowan) Tribou. Louise grew up in Hampden, attended Hampden schools and was a graduate of Hampden Academy, Class of 1943. She worked for 19 years at Hatch Insurance Agency in Dexter and was past president of the Insurance Women of Eastern Maine. Louise was a member of the Whitcomb-Baker VFW Auxiliary Post No. 4633 of Hampden, VFW auxiliary state president in 1973, and VFW auxiliary state treasurer 1976-1995. Louise is survived by her son, Warren S. Marks, of Browns Mills, N.J.; a daughter, Margaret L. Kimball of Bangor; one sister, Barbara Blanchard of Bradford; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; a daughter, Sandra L. Marks, husband, John Trask; and a brother, Edward A. “Bud” Tribou. Visiting hours will be held 6-8 p.m. Monday, at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden. The officers and members of the Whitcomb-Baker V.F.W. Auxiliary will conduct an evening memorial service 7 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home. Interment in the springtime will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, Hampden.
