FARMINGTON — Louise V. Richard, 71, of Wilton, died Jan. 11, 2004, at Franklin Memorial Hospital, Farmington, following a long illness. She was born June 1, 1932, in Livermore Falls, a daughter of Archille J. and Lillian (Fournier) Emond. A 1953 graduate of Livermore Falls High School, she married Anatole J. Richard in 1954, and was a dedicated homemaker. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Anatole of Wilton; two sons, Armand J. Richard and his wife, Nancy, of Mechanic Falls; Thomas J. Richard of Presque Isle; one daughter, Deborah Richard Jewett and her husband, David, of Windham; a granddaughter, Dyan Richard Macomber and her husband, Jonathan, of Wilton. She was predeceased by a brother, Armand Emond; and a sister, Rita Emond Bolduc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Rose of Lima Church, Jay, with Rev. Richard Senghas as celebrant. Family and friends are invited to call 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Wiles Funeral Home, Cremation Service and Bereavement Resource Center, 136 High St., Wilton. Following services on Wednesday, all are welcome to attend a family reception at the St. Rose Parish Hall. Those who desire may give gifts in her memory to the FMH Diabetes Education Dept., care of Betsy Kimball, Development Director, 111 Franklin Health Commons, Farmington, ME 04938. Envelopes available at the funeral home. Following cremation, private family committal services will be held at Lakeview Cemetery, Wilton, in the spring time.
