SHERMAN – Lucien A. Perry, 87, died April 7, 2006, at his home. He was born Oct. 20, 1918, in Sherman, the son of Jefferson and Katherine (Blodgett) Perry. Lucien was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during World War II and was a 33 year member and past master of Molunkus Lodge No. 165 AF & AM of Sherman, serving also as past district deputy. He also belonged to the York Rites Chapter and Molunkus Valley Chapter N0. 95 O.E.S. of Sherman. He is survived by two daughters, Faye and her husband, John Brown, of Patten and Debbie and her husband, Tim Peters, of Dyer Brook; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Audrey Cole; and his second wife, Laura Birmingham; and six brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls, conducted by Molunkus Lodge No. 165 and Molunkus Valley Chapter No. 95 O.E.S. Interment will be in the Sherman Mills Cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Arthritis Foundation, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
