FORT KENT – Lucille M. (Lozier) Pelletier, 81, died peacefully April 5, 2007, at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born Nov. 18, 1925, in Daigle, the daughter of Joseph and Mabel (Albert) Lozier. A few of Lucille’s favorite pastimes were crafts, genealogy and flowers. In 1952, she worked at Louis St. John’s grocery store. Lucille started working for the University of Maine – Fort Kent in 1957 and from 1966 to 1984, until her retirement in June 1985, where she also worked as business manager/director of the university relations and later as food service director. She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years of marriage, Leonard Pelletier of Fort Kent; two sons, James and his wife, Sue Ann Pelletier, of Bridgewater, N.J., Mike Pelletier of Waukegan, Ill.; five grandchildren, Amy, Eric, Joshua, Marc and Lauren; two brothers, Wilfred Lozier of Daigle and Gilbert Lozier of Fort Kent. In addition to both of her parents, she was predeceased by one son, Philip Pelletier in 2005. Friends may call 9 a.m. until time of service Wednesday, April 11, at Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Spring burial will be held at the parish cemetery. Donations may be made in her memory to the Medical Mission Sisters, 8400 Pine Road, Philadelphia, PA 19111. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
