FORT KENT – Lucius “Lou” P. Marin, 59, beloved husband of Elaine (Perreault) Marin, died Nov. 20, 2003, at a Fort Kent Health Care Facility. He was born Aug. 31, 1944, in Eagle Lake, the son of Paul and Lucienne (Leboeuf) Marin. He was a member of the 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus Council 1934 of Fort Kent. He was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Elaine of Fort Kent; a son, Joseph Paul Marin of Bangor; two daughters, Leeann Marin of Fort Kent and Janna Lou Marin and her friend, Brian Gregory and child, Kasey Gregory, of Waterville; two brothers, Paul and his wife, Sylvia, of Bangor and Peter Marin of Bristol, Conn.; four sisters, Lucille and her husband, Roger Theriault, of New Canada Plt., Pauline and her husband, Ed Dube, of Bristol, Conn., Pat and her husband, Jim Rioux, of Wallagrass and Louella and her husband, Phil Nadeau, of Plaisted; his Perreault family, Jeanne Boutot, Julie LaChance, Juanita Gagnon, Edmund Perreault, Jackie Lange and Madeline Nolan, all of Waterbury, Conn., Paul Perreault and Doris Pelletier of New Britain, Conn., Leo Perreault of Eagle Lake; the Pauline Labonte family of Waterbury, Conn.; the Germaine Clark family of New York; and the Norman Perreault family; many nieces and nephews. At the request of the family there will be no calling hours. Friends and relatives are invited to go directly to the St. Louis Catholic Church for a 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24, Mass of Christian Burial, with the Rev. Claude Gendreau officiating. In lieu of flowers those who wish may donate in his memory to Pat Rioux, 24 Market St., Suite 104, Fort Kent, ME 04743. The family’s intention is to donate to an educational scholarship. Envelopes will be available at the church. Arrangements are being conducted by the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent.
