EAST MILLINOCKET – Lynn Ann Butler, 52, died unexpectedly Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006, at her home. She was born April 27, 1954, in Skowhegan, the daughter of Gertrude and Ralph Butler. Lynn was a graduate of Schenck High School, Class of 1972. She spent her entire life in East Millinocket and would not have wanted it any other way. Lynn has cooked for, worked with, bowled with, or befriended most of the town’s population. Her mission in life was to care for those around her and she did this everyday with a smile, a joke or a story. She will be deeply missed by her family and everyone whose life she touched. Lynn was a devoted daughter. She attended to her mother, Gert-rude, when she took ill and continued to pamper her until she passed away in 1993. To her family, Lynn was the most loving, gentle, generous, kind and caring person in our lives. In addition to her father, Ralph Butler of East Millinocket, Lynn is survived by her brothers, James, John, Ronald and Miles; a niece, Angela K. Barber, who was more like a sister; and her three great-nieces, whom she adored, Marilyn LaJeunesse, Sara Ann and Julie Meiko Barber, and her many aunts and uncles. She will also be missed by two very close and beloved special friends, Betty O’Neill and Robin Knowlton; and the love of her life, Zack. Friends are invited to visit with the family 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Bouchard – Lamson Funeral Home, 17 Western Ave., East Millinocket. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 58 Cedar St., East Millinocket. Interment will be at East Millinocket Cemetery, East Millinocket.
