VAN BUREN – Steve C. Levesque, 52, died unexpectedly Oct. 18, 2006, at his residence on St. Bruno Street. He was born June 13, 1954, in Van Buren, the son of Gerald and Lillian (Chasse) Levesque Sr. He was educated in local schools and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Steve was self-employed for several years as a taxi cab driver and also worked as nurse’s aide at the former Van Buren Community Hospital and the Borderview Nursing Home. He was also employed as a dispatcher and clerk for the Van Buren Police Department. He is survived by one sister, Rose Marie Levesque of Van Buren; a brother, Richard Levesque of Van Buren; nieces and nephews, Linda Burke and her husband, Randy, Norman Levesque and his wife, Sharon, Lisa Lausier and her husband, Marcel, all of Van Buren; great-nieces and great-nephews, Tanisha, Mikeal, Christopher, Kelsie, Dylan, Tiffany, Kylie and Adam. There will be no visiting hours. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, at the St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. Interment will be at the parish cem-etery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute in his memory by making donations to assist the family, in care of Linda Burke, 506 Main St., Van Buren, ME 04785.
