MADAWASKA – Mabel Beaulieu Pelletier, 89, passed away Jan. 15, 2008, at a Van Buren health care facility. She was born Aug. 24, 1918, in St. David, the daughter of Eugene and Mattie (Deschaine) Beaulieu. Mabel was married to Edmund Pelletier for 39 years until he died in 1974. She was a member of Daughters of Isabella and Ladies of St. Ann. She is survived by two daughters, Carmen Dickson of Farmington, Conn., and Lorraine Barker and her husband, Larry, of Berlin, Conn.; six sons, Richard and his wife, Jenny Pelletier, of Torrington, Conn., Bob and his wife, Linda Pelletier, of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., Omer and his wife, Muriel Pelletier, of St. David, Elmer and his wife, Louise Pelletier, of Saco, Dave and his wife, Bern Pelletier, of Madawaska, Mike and his wife, Beth Pelletier, of Presque Isle; one brother, Maurice Beaulieu and his wife, Freda, of Missouri; seven sisters, Blanche Albert, Germain Cyr, Martha Beaupre, all of Madawaska, Jeannine Soucy of Winstead, Conn., Antoinette Beaulieu of Southington, Conn., Irma Ouellette of Plantsville, Conn., and Therese Gallant of Weathersfield, Conn. She was predeceased by her husband, Edmund; four daughters, Viola Hebert, Verna Lavoie, Jackie Kichas and Nancy Daigle; one granddaughter, Natalie Pelletier. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 18, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Friends and family may visit 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday until time of services at Daigle Funeral Home. Interment will be in the spring.
