ASHLAND – Mabel Cray, 76, died June 5, 2004 at a Caribou nursing home. She was born Dec. 4, 1927, in Ashland, the daughter of Paul and Nellie (Belanger) Jimmo. She is survived by two sons, Robert Cray and wife, Bonnie, of Ashland; and David Cray Jr. and wife, Janet, of Castle Hill; four daughters, Nancy Cray-Larson of Presque Isle, Mary Ellis and husband, Louie, of New Hampshire, Cynthia Cray of Bangor, and Barbara Cray-LeTourneau of North Carolina; one sister, Mary Young and husband, Vernon, of Bristol, Conn.; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, David Cray Sr., in 1990; and by one brother, Rene Jimmo. Relatives and friends may call 1 p.m. until time of service on Tuesday at the Stimson-Ouellette Funeral Home, 114 Exchange St., Ashland, where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Scott Mower officiating. Committal service and interment will be in the Ashland Municipal Cemetery.
