CAMBRIDGE – Madeline L. Elliott, 75, died Feb. 24, 2004, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born March 12, 1928, in Waltham, Mass., daughter of George and Lydia (Morrisette) Cartier. She was a member of the Quoddy Light Chapter of OES in Lubec. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. Her dog Romeo was very special to her. She is survived by her husband, Sheldon G. Elliott of Cambridge; three sons, Arthur Jette and his fianc‚e, Deborah Cunningham of Garland, Robert Jette of Bedford, New Hampshire, and Mark Jette of Boston, Mass.; two daughters, Linda Elliott of Gilford, New Hampshire, and Diane Jette of Lowell, Mass., several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Jacques Cartier and his wife, Joanne, of Exeter, N.H.; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main St., Dexter, with the Rev. Father Raymond Morency officiating. Spring burial will be in the West Garland Cemetery.
