MILLINOCKET – Margaret Ann Murray, 90, passed away Saturday, Dec. 25, 2004. She was born Oct. 23, 1914, in Glencoe Mills, Nova Scotia, Canada, the daughter of John and Isabelle (McDonald) Gillis. She was the wife of the late Ludgie Murray who died in 1976. Mrs. Murray was a devoted mother and grandmother who was very proud of her Canadian citizenship. She is survived by a daughter, Bess and her husband, Bob Cutliffe, of Millinocket; two sons, John and wife, Sue Johnson, of Millinocket and Dan Johnson of Grindstone; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Breton; and a grandson, Jessie Dan Johnson. She was the last living of her 13 siblings. Services will be private. Arrangements are by R. L. Bouchard Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket. Spring burial will be in Millinocket Cemetery. If friends wish, friends may make gifts in Mrs. Murray’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
