HARRISON – Margaret E. “Peggy” Ellingwood, 61, died unexpectedly Thursday, March 22, 2007, at Maine Medical Center, Portland. She was born Aug. 4, 1945, in Lynn, Mass., the daughter of Armand and Evelyn James Decareau. She attended school in Lynn, Mass., and was a homemaker. She enjoyed watching and feeding the birds, camping, summers in Maine and spring in Virginia. She also enjoyed ceramics, many people have items she made, and she had a tendency towards flamboyant, but above all, she loved her family and grandkids. She is survived by her husband, Harold Ellingwood of Harrison; one daughter, Lisa Johnson of Virginia Beach, Va.; two stepsons, Jeff Howard of Glenburn and Richard Ellingwood; a stepdaughter, Mari-Lynn Winn of South Berwick; a brother, William; three sisters, Henrietta, Charlotte and Judy; several grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Weston-Chandler Funeral Home, 230 Main St., Norway, where a funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Thursday.
