HAMLIN and LAC ETCHEMIN, Quebec – Margaret Noella Morrow, 78, passed away peacefully Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, surrounded in love by family and friends, in Montana. Margaret was born Dec. 24, 1928, at Cyr Plantation, Van Buren, the daughter of Pierre and Marguerite Laplante. Margaret was raised in the natural beauty and grandeur of the Saint John Valley. She married Renie J. Morrow, July 7, 1949. Together they celebrated 50 years of love and dedication. After raising a family of seven children, they retired to Lac Etchemin, Quebec. Margaret and Renie were parishioners of Saint Germaine Catholic Church, and affiliates of the Army of Mary, and the Sons and Daughters of Mary. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Renie; cherished grandson, Mathew Welsh; sisters, Vivian, Loraine, Marie and Bernadette; brothers, Alphonse, Maurice, Aurel, Noel, Louie and Channel. Margaret is survived by her sister, Estelle Theriault of Connecticut; son, Phillip Morrow of Presque Isle; daughters, Theresa Welch of Illinois, Janet Vienneau of Washburn, Stella Hislop of Montana, Margo Barnum of Virginia, Marie Andrle of Clifton and Anne Morrow of Bangor; 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Rest in peace, beloved mother and sister. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Roland Coutoure and Fils Funeral Home, 231 Second Ave., Lac Etchemin, Quebec. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at Spiri-Maria, Lac Etchemin, Quebec, by Father Deni.
