THOMASTON, Conn. – Mrs. Margaret P. (Anderson) MacDonald, 83, of Walnut Hill Road, died Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at Waterbury (Conn.) Hospital. She was the wife of the late of Harold A. MacDonald. Mrs. MacDonald was born Nov. 24, 1924, in Oxbow, daughter of the late Hugh and Lena (Pelkey) Anderson. Raised in Maine, she moved to Thomaston in 1964. She is survived by two daughters, Louise Turner of Thomaston, Conn., and Linda Knox of Northfield, Conn.; three sisters, Gertrude Christie of Presque Isle, Bernice Greenlaw of Caribou and Velma Sherman of Port Charlotte, Fla.; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High St., Thomaston, Conn. Burial will be in Maine.
