HERMON – Margaret “Peggy” Eleanor Phillips, 66, died unexpectedly March 19, 2007, surrounded by her loving family at a Bangor hospital. She was born Jan. 30, 1941, in Goshen, N.Y., the daughter of Milton C. and Elizabeth (Bromley) Krantz. Peggy liked flowers and herbs and was a master herbalist. She also enjoyed photography and seemed to always have a camera in her hands during family gatherings. Most of the time she had a camera on her, in case it was a Kodak moment. More then anything she loved her family and was a loving grandmother, mother, great-grandmother and friend to many. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie LoGiudice and companion, Robbie Lovett, of Hermon, Kassie Hopkins and husband, Lloyd, of Hermon, Dee Dee Phillips and companion, Ulemu Chalila, of Bangor; six grandchildren, Jessica, Rodney and Angela Jenkins, Michael Hopkins and wife, Nicole, April Hopkins and Jordan Strayer; six great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Hunter, David, Autumn, Aidyn, and Mariah; Aunt Dorothy; her cousins, Jane and Bill; and her feline friend, Baby Cat. She was predeceased by her parents, Milton and Elizabeth Krantz. A celebration of Peggy’s life will be held 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 25, at the Hopkins residence, 274 Annis Road, Hermon.
