CLEARWATER, Fla., and BANGOR – Margaret (Peggy) Josephine (Obey) Blinn, 90, formerly of Bangor, died Oct. 23, 2006, after a brief illness. She was the daughter of John J. and Mary E. (Call) Obey of Orland. She was born in Bangor and graduated from John Bapst High School. She loved hearing from her family and enjoyed reading. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church, Bangor, prior to her move to Florida in 1975. Mrs. Blinn was a salesperson at Senter’s and Rines department stores, Bangor and The Crystal Closet Dress Shop, Sunset Point, Fla. She was a communicant at The Light of Christ Church, Clearwater, Fla. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William C. Blinn Sr; two brothers, John W. “Jack” and Robert E.; three sisters, Ellen F. Obey, Mary E. (Spencer) Blinn and Elizabeth A. “Betty” Blanchard. Survivors include her sister, Stella K Pelkey of Brewer; one son, William C. Blinn Jr and his wife, Nan, of Niceville, Fla.; three daughters, Mary E. Blinn of Clearwater, Fla., Barbara E. Sproul and her husband, Charles, of Brewer and Ann C. Stoeckard of Clearwater, Fla.; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
