AUBURN – Margaret T. Parker, 94, of Hackett Road, died Thursday morning, Oct. 4, 2007, at her home. She was born Feb. 6, 1913, in Augusta, a daughter of Harry and Mabel (Ladd) Sproul. She received her education in local schools having lived in the Bangor and Weeks Mills area as a child. In 1932, she graduated from Erskine Academy and Nov. 17, 1935, married Marshall Parker. He died in 1992. Mrs. Parker was a homemaker and she enjoyed needlework, crocheting and had made several wedding gowns. She had a very strong faith in God and worked extensively in Bible education. She is survived by her four children, Gerald and his wife, Ellen, of Madison, Dana and his wife, Gail, of Farmingdale, Phyllis Powers of Portland and Sharon Livingston and her husband, Robert, of Florida; a sister, Madeline Messer of Bangor, 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Oren Sproul. Public memorial services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, from the Auburn Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Hotel Road, Auburn. Private family interment will be at North Franklin Cemetery, Fairbanks.
