MILFORD – Margaret W. Cormier, 101, passed away peacefully Jan. 15, 2008, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born April 13, 1906, in Leicester, England, the daughter of Hugh and Elizabeth Kellock. She met her husband, Clarence “Pat” Cormier of Old Town, during the second World War in England, where she married and moved to the U.S. in 1945. Margaret was a very active member of First Congregational Church of Milford. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the center of her life. Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Clarence “Pat” Cormier. She is survived by her son, Robert and his wife, Betty; grandson, Scott and his wife, Adria; granddaughter, Aimee and husband, Randy; and great-grandchildren, Acadia and Caleb Gelineau. A memorial service will be celebrated 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, at First Congregational Church of Milford, Main Street, Milford. Donations may be made in Margaret’s memory to First Congregational Church of Milford, Main Street, Milford, ME 04461. Arrangements are entrusted to Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town.
