BANGOR – Marilyn A. McGinty Brewster, 74, died May 28, 2005, at her residence. She was born June 5, 1930, in Brewer, the daughter of James E. and Mary (Vickery) McGinty. Marilyn graduated from John Bapst High School in 1948, and Mercy School of Nursing 1951. She worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bangor for more than 30 years. She was a communicant of St. John’s Catholic Church and a member of the St. John’s Women’s Council. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence C. Brewster of Bangor; one son, David Brewster of Bangor; two daughters, Robin Brewster of Bangor and Joanna Cullins of Forest Grove, Ore.; five grandchildren, James, Jennifer and Sean Cullins of Oregon, Heather and Ashley Brewster of Bangor. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, at the Greenlawn Memorial Funeral Home, 300 State St., Bangor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday, at St. John’s Catholic Church, with the Rev. Richard C. McLaughlin, pastor, officiating.
