HAMPDEN – Marilyn Frances Fogg, 69, passed away peacefully, May 2, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Aug. 1, 1934, in Bangor, the daughter of Percy G. and Dora (Leonard) Fogg. Marilyn was lifelong resident of Hampden, attended Hampden schools, and was a 1952 graduate of Hampden Academy. She ran a home business, manufacturing cards and novelty items from her home in Hampden. Marilyn was an active member of the Maine Action Coalition, Hammond Street Seniors Center, attended the Hampden Congregational Church and enjoyed country music concerts, going for rides, knitting and oil painting. Marilyn is survived by her devoted brother, Roderick L. Fogg Sr. and his wife, Norma, of Hampden; two nieces; two nephews; and five great-nieces. She was predeceased by her parents. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor, with the Rev. Dr. Deborah M. Jenks, pastor of the Hampden Congregational Church, officiating. Those attending the service are invited to meet at the Superintendents Lodge, State Street Entrance, 1048 State St., Bangor, at 12:45 p.m. on Thursday.
