FRANKLIN – Marion C. Bunker, 91, wife of the late Harvey E. Bunker, went to be with the Lord Monday, Sept. 12, 2005. She was born March 1, 1914, in Franklin, the daughter of Holcie S. and Abbie (West) Coombs. Marion was a life-long resident of Franklin and attended local schools. She was a member of the Franklin Baptist Church for many years where she was church secretary and treasurer, and was also active in the Women’s Guild and many committees. Marion worked many years at J.J. Newberry on Main Street, Ellsworth, in the Fabric Department, from where she retired. She is survived by two sons, Kenneth R. DeBeck and his wife, Lillian, and Philip H. Debeck and his partner, Ann; two daughters, Nancy E. King and her husband, Robert, and Meredith J. Coffin and her husband, Timothy; three step- children, Mary Schneegas, Arthur Wilbur and Sandy Wilbur; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends are invited to visit with the family 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, 215 Main St., Ellsworth, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 with Pastor Dan Quinlan officiating.
