LAKELAND, Fla. – Lenna “Lenny” Sheridan, passed away Aug. 9, 2005, at her residence in Lakeland, after a courageous battle against cancer. She attended schools in Exeter, Corinna, and Dexter. She traveled the country with her husband while he played in the band, and got to see a lot of this country before returning to Maine and then moved to Lakeland, Fla. She is survived by her husband, Charles “Lefty Dean” Sheridan; her children, Edna Hensley, Roberta Squires, Lisa Sheridan, William Johnson, Charles Sheridan Jr., of Lakeland, Fla., Bernal Squires of Colorado Springs, Colo.; her sisters, Janice Wilson, Dorothy Hinderline of Michigan, Phyllis Matyskiela of Carmel; brothers, Ralph Phillips of Michigan, Richard Grace of Carmel. Lenny was predeceased by both her natural and adopted parents. Friends are God’s way of taking care of us. A tribute to my friend who is dearly missed from Kathy Violette.
