LAKEWORTH, Fla. – Marion Shiro Kirshenbaum, 94, died July 26, 2007, at her residence. She was born and grew up in Bar Harbor. After working for the federal government in Baltimore, she and her husband moved back to Bar Harbor where they did catering and baking. Her husband, Jack worked at Jackson Laboratories and she served for many years as executive secretary to the superintendent of Acadia National Park, where she delighted in telling snowmobilers that the trails were closed. Predeceased by her husband, Jack; and her parents Lena and A.M. Shiro of Bar Harbor, she is survived by her sister, Dorothy Katz and her husband, Martin, of Princeton, N.J.; six nieces and nephews; and various Rudmans and Shiros, relatives in Bangor.
