ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. – Marion R. Hodgkins, of Zephyrhills and Trenton, passed away at a Zephyrhills hospital on March 7, 2005. Marion was born in Seal Cove, the daughter of Leon and Letha Bartlett Pierce on July 14, 1927. Marion retired as office manager of State of Maine Employment Bureau in Ellsworth. She was predeceased by husband, Gerald in l998; sister, Grace Walton; and brother, Richard Pierce; and grandson, Curt Woodward. Survivors are daughters, Marey Ann Dow and her husband, Malcolm, of Zephyrhills and Seal Cove, Clare Brown and husband, Raymond, of Zephyrhills and Trenton; stepsons, Christopher of San Jose, Calif. and Lawrence and his wife, Sue, of Waldoboro; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held in early summer. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to cancer research.
