STOCKTON SPRINGS – Marjorie (Lane) Ludwig, 66, died Feb. 20, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Oct. 15, 1938, in Bangor, the daughter of Emery and Bernice (York) Lane. Marjorie was an extremely loving and generous person who enjoyed helping others. She took great joy in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, always telling her friends stories about them. She had horses that she loved and a special horse, Black-Bart, which her grandchildren remember fondly. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, flowers, the ocean, and attending church. Marjorie will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by four children, Valerie Renee Cote of East Orland and her friend, Tim Fitz-Gerald, of Stockton Springs, Albert Thomas Savage and his wife, Elizabeth, of Searsport, William Marquiett Cote and his wife, Shelley, of Maple Falls, Wash., Timothy James Cote and his fianc?e, Pamela S. Atwood, of Bucksport; grandchildren, Heather Boynton and her husband, Charles, Amber Larrabee and her husband, Dale, Shea Davis and his wife, Stacy, Shannon Clark, Nikoloas Hendrick, and Lauren Cote; great-grand-children, Tucker Boynton, Broderick Boynton, Joshua Larrabee, Brady Davis(-on the way!!), and Devin; her brothers and sisters and their families, Beverly, Maynard, Calvert, Daniel, Emery, Marilyn, Carlene, and Rachel; many nieces and nephews; several special friends. In addition to her parents, Marjorie was predeceased by her sister, Marita Rose; her first husband and the father of her children, William Cote; her second husband, Edwin Savage; her third husband, Robert F. Ludwig. Visitation for family and friends will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005, at the Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 28 Elm St., Bucksport, where a funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25, 2005, with Pastor Jonathan Hughes officiating.
