GUILFORD – Marjorie (Schultz) Bullard, 90, passed away peacefully Jan. 31, 2008, surrounded by her family, at her daughter’s home in Hermon. She has gone to be with her beloved husband, Edwin. Marjorie was born June 7, 1917, in Mayville, Mich., the daughter of William Schultz and Nina Bowerman. In 1924, Marjorie along with her family drove from Michigan to Guilford in a Model T Ford to start a new life. In 1935, she graduated as salutatorian from Guilford High School. She met and married Edwin Bullard Sr., in 1938. They were married for 55 years before he was taken from her. She worked for many years at Hardwood Products Co., until her retirement. She was involved with American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 119 for 53 years, Guilford United Methodist Church and South Sangerville Grange. She is survived by her children, Phillip Bullard and his wife, Mary Jane, of Abbot, Linda Webster and her husband, David, of Hermon, and Edwin “Jay” Bullard Jr. of Caribou; her grandchildren, Steven Bullard and his wife, Janice, of Crestwood, Ky., Stuart Bullard and his wife, Lisa, of Bangor, Robert Bullard of Bangor, Gregory Bullard of Stockton Springs, Christine Proulx and her husband, David, of Carrabassett Valley, Charlene Krug and her husband, Brent, of Lincolnton, N.C., Kristi Petersen and her husband, Glen, of New Sweden, Ryan Bullard and his girlfriend, Danielle, of Rock Hill, S.C., Vikki Swan and her husband, James, of Warren, and Kelly Swan and her husband, Stacy, of Hermon; 17 great- grandchildren, three brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Marjorie was predeceased by her parents, her husband; three sisters, Doris Mountain, Gertrude Leighton and Patricia Kirk; and two brothers, John and Sieferd B. Schultz. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, at Crosby & Neal, 21 Oak St., Guilford, with Pastor Stephen Dean officiating.
