MARK A. NADEAU SR. DIXMONT – Mark A. Nadeau Sr., 52, died unexpectedly July 16, 2006, at his residence. He was born June 27, 1954, in Old Town, the son of Walter H. and Doris F. (Michaud) Nadeau. Mark was a loving father and grandfather. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, trail walking and swimming. He was a veteran, having served four years with the U.S. Army. He is survived by three children, Marcey McIntyre and her husband, Jason, of Hampden, Mark Nadeau and his wife, Nykie, of Milford and Erika Nadeau of Baltimore; three grandchildren, who all loved “Papa Nunu” very much, Brendan and Ian McIntyre of Hampden and Braiden Nadeau of Milford; a stepson, Jason Fecteau of Florida; three brothers, Walter Nadeau Jr. of Virginia, Jeffrey Nadeau of Wisconsin and Andrew Nadeau of Windsor; three sisters, Eugenia Wollstadt and Rebecca Oliver, both of Old Town and Mary Nadeau of Corinna. He was predeceased by his parents. A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, at the Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town, where family and friends may call noon until time of service.
