ORONO – Martin R. Reiser, 67, and his wife, Marta Reiser, 71, both passed away on June 13, 2004, in an automobile accident while driving cross-country from Orono to what would have been their new home in Tempe, Ariz. Martin was a devoted husband, father, grampa, and pharmacist. Marta was his beloved bride and a loyal, loving mother and grandmother “Guely”. Martin most recently was the Chief Pharmacist at Shaw’s Supermarket in Bangor. As such, he took great pleasure in taking care of all his patients and tirelessly served the community as a medical care provider. The family only takes solace in the fact that they were taken together. Both Martin and Marta will be deeply missed by their only son, Jason; daughter-in-law, Jeni (Hatfield) Reiser; two granddaughters, Madeline and Sophie; and other family and friends. A memorial service will be held 5 p.m. on June 26th, at the Reiser home in Rogers, Ariz. Memorial donations may be made to the Children’s Miracle Network.
