MACWAHOC – Mary A. Gerard, 81, wife of the late Roland A. Gerard, died April 22, 2007, at a Lincoln health care facility. She was born Aug. 6, 1925, in Kingman, the daughter of Ollie Lancaster Sr. and Annie (Christopherson) Lancaster. Mary worked in shoe shops when she lived in the Augusta area and for many years was employed at Forster Manufacturing Co., Inc. She is survived by two sons and their wives, Robert and Anita Gerard of Vassalboro and Ronald and Debbie Gerard of Augusta; grandchildren, Bobby Gerard, Jodi Sleeper and Robbie Lancaster; great-grandchildren, Samuel and Stephanie Gerard, Edward and Mikaela Sleeper, and Brooke and Paul Lancaster; a brother, Ollie Lancaster Jr. and his wife, Joyce, of Kingman; four sisters, Bertha Lancaster, Agnes Lancaster, Geraldine Ogden, and Caroline Lee, all of Kingman; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Lancaster of Kingman; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Lyle Lancaster; a brother, Harold Weston; and a sister, Helen Nute.
