CARIBOU – Mary A. Sullivan Corey, 93, beloved mother and grandmother, went to be with the Lord, Sept. 27, 2005, at her Caribou residence. Mary was born July 2, 1912, the daughter of George and Nadine (Disy) Sullivan. Mary was married to Nageb Corey and together they owned the Green Acres Restaurant, from where she used her passion for cooking. Mary continued to help out with Green Acres long after it was sold. Mary loved to cook for family, friends and anyone in need, as she loved helping others. She is survived by her two sons, Robert and his wife, Judy, of Caribou, Peter Corey and Vera Stainbrook of Westmanland; two granddaughters, Jennifer Corey of Portland and Tracy Corey of Caribou; two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Amber Corey of Caribou. She is survived by one sister, Madeline Valente of Hartford, Conn.; also many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Nageb in 1991. She was predeceased by two brothers, Samual A. and Joseph Sullivan; three sisters, Idell “Nancy” Sullivan, Berdina Cyr and Myrtle Williams. Mary will be especially missed by a dear friend, Elizabeth Corey of Caribou. Mary will be lovingly remembered by Ken and Kim Masse and sons, Shane, Austin and Mitchell of Naples, Fla.; also by Michael and Lynn Hackett and daughters, Monique and Josephine of Dunedin, Fla. Friends may call at the Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover St., Caribou, 2-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005. Services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Fr. John Paul Labrie officiating. Interment will be in Old Holy Rosary Cemetery.
