BAR HARBOR – Mary Adelaide McDaniel, 88, beloved wife of 52 years to the late Earl D. McDaniel, died Feb. 3, 2006, in Bar Harbor. She was born June 2, 1917, in Caribou, the daughter of Henry and Olivia (Davis) Twist. She enjoyed her flower gardens and cooking. Mary is survived by two sons, David McDaniel of Revere, Mass. and John McDaniel and partner, Helen Clark, of Town Hill; one daughter, Carol and husband, Wally Gray, of Salisbury Cove; four grandchildren, Heather Graves and husband, Brian, Jeff McDaniel and wife, Megan, Laura McDaniel and Rebecca and husband, Logan Thornton; and four great-grandchildren, Ashley Graves, Brendan Graves, Logan Thornton II and Kendall Thornton.
