CARIBOU – Mary G. Boutote, 61, died Sept. 3, 2004, at Caribou. She was born Nov. 11, 1942, at Presque Isle, the daughter of Levi W. and Madeline (Bear) Gardiner. She was a graduate of the Presque Isle high school. Mary also graduated from the University of Maine at Presque Isle as an LPN and the Northern Maine Technical College as an R.N. She was employed at Cary Medical Center for 40 years as a registered nurse. She was a member of the Rebecca’s and a member of the Caribou Bowling League. Mary loved people and loved to travel. She was a dedicated mother to her family. Surviving in addition to her mother of Presque Isle, are one son, Michael W. Boutote of Caribou; one daughter, Debi Wilson and her husband, Marvin, of Tacoma, Wash.; two brothers, Billy Gardiner of Presque Isle and Paul Gardiner of Des Moines, Iowa; one sister, Carolin Turner of Presque Isle; two grandchildren, Jessie Saucier and Shawn Beaupre. Friends may call from 12 noon until time of services Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004, at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. from the chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home, with the Fr. Jean-Paul Labrie, pastor of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will take place in the South Side Cemetery, Mapleton.
