WINTERPORT – Mary Helen Orme, 90 years young!!, went home to be with her Lord, Aug. 17, 2005, in Bangor. She was born Aug. 5, 1915, in Sharon Hills, Pa., the daughter of Joseph H. and Mary M. (Harris) Larer. Mrs. Orme moved 20 years ago to Houlton and later to Winterport to make her home with her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jane and Foster Williams. She was an accomplished pianist and was the organist as well as Sunday school teacher for her home church, the Glen-Croft Baptist Church, in Glenolden, Pa. Mrs. Orme reached out to others all through her life and up until the time of her death had a card ministry that touched many, many people. She is survived by her beloved children, daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jane and Foster Williams of Winterport, Richard A. Orme and his wife, Yvonne, of Pa.; grandchildren, Lisa A. Kempton and her husband, Jeff, of South Gorham, Karen L. Bussiere and her husband, Dan, of West Buxton, Nancy Schnabel and her husband, Tom, of Pennsylvania, Thomas Orme and his wife, Kim, of Delaware, Linda Ross and her husband, Gordon, of Delaware, Melanie Aber and her husband, Matt, of Pennsylvania, Rick Orme and Andrew Orme; 11 great-grandchildren, Victoria and Gabrielle Kempton, Noah and Ben Bussiere, Lexie and Jack Schnabel, Nicole Ross, Ryan Kenneth Aber, Jacob Orme, Josiah Orme, and Abagail Orme; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest A. Orme Jr.; her oldest son, Ernest H. Orme; two brothers, Howard and William Larer; one sister, Emma Larer. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Glenolden, Pa. Burial will be in Glen Mills, Pa. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Brooking-Smith, Family Center, 163 Center St., Bangor.
