CARIBOU – Ronald B. Jolly, 57, died Aug. 17, 2005, at his Caribou residence, following a life-long illness with heart disease and kidney disease. He was born Feb. 22, 1948, at Winchendon, Mass., the son of Lewis and Rosabelle (Gravel-Haney) Jolly. He was a self-employed carpenter and roofer and was also employed by many local farmers. Ron loved NASCAR and faithfully watched the races on Saturday and Sunday. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed playing cards and bingo. Surviving in addition to his mother of Caribou; are his daughter and son-in-law, Leslie and Norman Soucy of Woodland; seven brothers, Sonny Jolly of Lisbon, Conn., George Jolly of Petersham, Mass., Burnie Jolly of Royalston, Mass., David Jolly, Jimmy Jolly and Joey Jolly, all of Caribou and Henry Jolly of Woodland; eight sisters, Carol Oliver, Janet Rathburn and Rosemary Rathburn, all of Athol, Mass., Laura Parker of Warwick, Mass., Elizabeth Ennis and Susan Bragdon, both of Caribou, Cindy Ackerman of Concord, N.H. and Debbie Barkem of Moorse, N.Y.; one grandson, Joshua Soucy; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19, 2005, at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou, until time of funeral services, which will be held 1 p.m. at the chapel of the funeral home, with the V. Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie, officiating.
