MACHIAS and DANFORTH – Mary Jane Irish, 83, died Oct. 7, 2003, at Marshall Health Care Facility in Machias after a long illness. She was born March 10, 1920, in Reed Plantation, the daughter of Asa A. and Ella Jane (Dow) Bragg. She was predeceased by her husband, Forrest Irish; three brothers, Ira Bragg, Charles Bragg and Maurice Bragg; her favorite sister-in-law, Charlotte Bragg; her favorite niece, Ella Mae Grant. She will be remembered in the hearts and thoughts of family members, Sheila Johnson of Vernon Conn., Forrest Bragg and Jack Bragg of East Machias, Rodney Bragg of Cutler, Gilberta Spinney, Larene Spinney and Pat Day, all of Danforth, Peggy Sisson of Winterport, Mary Jane Cleary and Elena Howes, both of Houlton.
