BLUE HILL – Mary L. Lutz, 79, went home to be with the Lord, Oct. 6, 2003, at an Ellsworth healthcare facility. She was born July 7, 1924 in Blue Hill, the daughter of Hollis K. and Martha E. (Candage) Stover. She was a member of the Ellsworth Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She loved cats and stuffed animals. She is survived by two daughters, Annette and her husband, Louis Schoof of McMinnville, Ore., Joan and her husband, Mark Silverberg of Springfield, Mo.; one son, Phillip and his wife, Holly Lutz of Bucksport; nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; a sister, Lillian Stover; and a brother, Douglas Stover, both of Blue Hill. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Thomas Lutz and two sisters, Virginia Allen and Helen Ferry. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 10, 2003, at Healey Funeral Home, 141 South St., Blue Hill. Interment will be at Mount View Cemetery, North Blue Hill.
