BANGOR – Mary M. Knowlton, 78, beloved mother, went to be with the Lord, April 26, 2006, at a Bangor healthcare facility. She was born June 17, 1927, in Gallipolis, Ohio, the daughter of James and Bertha (Teeters) Froideveaux. She is survived by a son, James Moorhead and his wife, Susan, of Florida; a daughter, Helen Perkins-Swan and her husband, James Swan, of Eddington; seven grandchildren, Little Jim, Amy, Scott, Alan Perkins, Anne-Marie Perkins-King, Joshua Behrenshouser, Ruthee Reynolds; nine great-grandchildren, a sister, Rosie Epp and her husband, Bill, of Arizona; a sister-in-law, Jennie Knowlton Bemis of Holden. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2006, at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor, with the Rev. Peter Sprague, pastor of the Columbia Street Baptist Church, officiating.
